As a travel blogger, my ambition is to inspire people to get outside of their comfort zones and explore new places. Another one of my goals is to encourage others to create and share content about their everyday experiences. My friends at #GoProMusic feel the same way, so we partnered on a fun giveaway that would equip three lucky subscribers with the tools I used to film my French & Swiss Alps web series. And now, we have the pleasure of announcing the randomly selected contest winners.
The third-place winner of a Head Strap Mount + Quick Clip is university student Syed Khairi. Based in Southampton, England, Syed is a media creator and budding filmmaker.
Our second-place winner, Stephanie Kovacs, is based out of Fort St. John, Canada. She is taking home a 3-Way selfie stick and says she will likely use it to film adventures with her dog.
“The mount looks like it can be used in so many ways,” Stephanie said. “Maybe now I will get more ambitious with vlogging … who knows? I am sort of overwhelmed with the possibilities.”
Based in Iowa City, Iowa, our first-place winner is Alyse Higgins. The folks at #GoProMusic are giving her a waterproof Hero4 Session AND a 3-Way, so she’s all set to start vlogging on her own.
“I've been blogging, but I would love to start a vlog, and my new GoPro Hero4 Session would be perfect for documenting my travels around the globe,” Alyse said. “I am getting married to a cinematographer so between my love of travel and his skill with film and editing, we'll make a great team. I know that the 3-Way will be great to capture the both of us on our hikes, swims and adventures.”
After her graduation in May, Alyse plans on bringing her new gear to Colorado and capturing the great outdoors in HD.
