It's the fifth installment of Octoween on this channel. The annual Halloween review has returned once again as this time I take a look at yet another Goosebumps episode. This is also the first time since 2016 that I've reviewed a goosebumps episode and I figured why not upload one as goosebumps is my all time favourite Halloween piece of media.
A special thanks to Jake, Matt and Tom as well as another Matt and James in the back doing audio and camera operating on the day we shot this in 2018.
So yes, the studio clips were recorded last year and we shot on studio grade cameras which unfortunately create video files that come out looking horrible on most editing software including the one I use for all my videos.
That's why I actually never intended to release this one as the only option was editing it on premiere pro and well, I'm quite shit with premiere pro as I have no idea how to use it with effects and all the good stuff I know how to do on my other editing software. However, I made it my duty to edit this for Halloween this year for my channel but as you could guess, because I only did studio recordings of reactions to the episode, actual commentary for the review hadn't been recorded yet.
So I recorded the commentary just recently which also helps to make it NEW content for Octoween V in 2019 and not just something I filmed last year.
One more thing before I end this long ass rambling description talking about the making of this, I should point out that the shoot we did in that dimly lit studio was HORRENDOUS and it had constant delays and breaks because of the lack of preparation on my part in terms of reacting to parts of the episode. Somehow though I was able to salvage what you are seeing in this video from the wreck of the shoot and it became this video.
I still have no idea how we did it, but we did it. So there you have it that's why these clips took a year to be released as a review and were just about likely to have never been released at all.
