The scene in which all hell breaks lose. Palestar (Imposter) attacks Echostar (Mukuro) during a gathering after she speculates that Oliveshade (Kiyo) killed Ottershine (Angie). At that moment, Dark Forest warriors descend and cause the cats to be brainwashed into despair, and a huge battle breaks out. Bearheart (Junko) watches the carnage, happy that her plan is working smoothly. Every cat is under their control, except for three: Wolftuft (Makoto), Ferretwhisker (Hajime) and Onyxwater (Shuichi).

However, Shellface is extremely conflicted in how he feels about it, given that Hailsong was a horrific bully and tormentor of his as he grew up, as she blamed him for the death of a cat she was close to. Runningcloud sympathizes with Shellface, and they both can’t really seem to have it in themselves to mourn.
