GET THE PERFORMANCE YOU'VE PAID FOR WITH LOW SIDEWALL (LSW) TECHNOLOGY
Equipment isn’t getting any smaller, and each model year boasts more horsepower, more torque, greater load capacities and larger attachments. These improvements come with a greater cost and the promise of greater productivity — but it’s a promise that only holds true if you have the right wheel and tire assembly.
GET THE LSW ADVANTAGE
Titan Low Sidewall (LSW) tire/wheel assemblies feature a larger rim diameter and smaller sidewall than comparable standard tires, but with the same overall diameter, same inflation pressures and same weight load capacity. The larger rim and smaller sidewall of LSW provides much greater stability for equipment, allowing you to take full advantage of the manufacturers’ promises of increased productivity.
Today’s tractors and combines are faster and heavier than ever before, but to take full advantage of their capabilities, you need the right wheel and tire assembly. A standard wheel/tire assembly with a 70 percent aspect ratio has a tendency to bounce during road transport and hop in the field when put in high-draw-bar applications. With LSW, those issues are eliminated.

WHAT IS LSW TECHNOLOGY?
Low Sidewall (LSW) technology features a larger rim diameter and smaller sidewall than a standard tire, while maintaining the same outside diameter, inflation pressures and weight load capacity. The larger rim and smaller sidewall of LSW provides much greater stability for equipment.
WHY CHOOSE LSW?
Today’s equipment continues getting larger and more powerful, all while the standard tire design has been expected to keep up. The large sidewall of standard tires tends to flex and sway under these increased stresses, which can cause problems such as reduced breakout force on loaders, as well as road loping and power hopping on tractors and combines. With the smaller sidewall and larger rim diameter of LSW, there is less potential for recoil and bouncing. The LSW design is a well-documented improvement for handling, speed, ride quality and stability — just look to the automotive market for proof.
WHY CHOOSE TITAN?
Creating a viable LSW tire requires a wheel to match. Titan is the only company with the ability to design, test and produce both wheels and tires for the agriculture, construction, forestry and mining markets. Our R&D teams have worked diligently over the past 18 years to perfect LSW technology, and we’ve done the testing to back up our claims. Our LSW products offers the following solutions and benefits to end users:
• Reduce Road Lope
• The larger the sidewall, the more potential there is for recoil and bouncing. The smaller sidewall of the LSW design dampens the swaying motion that results in road lope when traveling at high speeds, keeping the operator productive and comfortable between fields.
• Reduce Power Hop
• A smaller sidewall also helps eliminate the power hop experienced when the tire bites into the ground, and the tractor bounces forward in high-drawbar applications. Reducing power hop keeps the operator comfortable and productive in the field
• Reduce Compaction
• Improved Performance

GOODYEAR OPTITRAC AND GOODYEAR SUPER TRACTION radial
Aggressive tread design features a 25 percent deeper lug than standard R-1s and a 45-degree lug angle for superior self cleaning, longer and more even tread wear, and improved traction in wet soils. • IF technology combined with LSW allows growers to run at 20 percent lower inflation pressures for excellent flotation, while maintaining lateral stability on hillside conditions and smooth ride on the road.

GOODYEAR DT930
Extreme Flotation width provides excellent alternative to rear duals on MFWD tractors, providing larger contact area and reduced air pressures for minimized compaction during spring work, planting and harvesting.
GOODYEAR SUPER TERRA GRIP XT
Extreme Flotation width provides excellent alternative to standard 420/85R34 on the front of MFWD tractors, providing nearly double the contact area and reducing the air pressures for minimized compaction during spring work, planting and harvesting.
