APRIL 2020 UPDATE:
This video is largely irrelevant now that Empire is no longer a flash game. Most mobile browsers will support HTML5. You will still need to check the option in your browser to load the desktop site, otherwise GGE will redirect you to Empire Four Kingdoms. You will need a fairly powerful phone. Also note that Goodgame Empire is not designed to be played with touch controls so you will probably not have much fun on mobile. As this is a problem with the game itself, there is no workaround.

If youre looking for a free way to earn more rubies, you should turn your attention towards desert fortresses (in the Burning Sands) and dragons (in Fire Peaks). These targets are not necessarily easy to tackle, but they will reward you with rubies you can spend to further your general progress.
In this video, Ill share two different methods for attacking dragons.
The first is for higher-level players, and relies upon the attacker having a large enough courtyard bonus to overcome the disadvantage presented by only taking one section of the wall.
The second is for players who are still working on their commanders and are interested in capturing a secure victory.
