The free-to-play shooters seem to be on rotation as xDefiant has just announced its ending service and the new f2p on the block Delta Force is just releasing (on PC).
It is really a shame that xDefiant hasn't achieved viability, and reading through the farewell message by the executive producer ( news.ubisoft.com/en-us/article/2wPUTEuXKpVoCvINTcxvGR ), it is clear that Ubisoft's priorities have shifted away from wanting to see the f2p shooter achieve success in the longer term... and therefore production and support is at the end of the line.
