Can a guy get 1000 erroneous and spite-filled downvotes?
Golden Sun was tied in the top three of my personal favourite handheld games of all time, period.
I read a massive review of the game by someone, played it again, and found out that it essentially fails in every conceivable way as an rpg. The story doesn't work, the combat not only fails to be engaging, but also fails to be balanced, and the character development and world-building is practically non-existent.
9/10 - IGN.
Also if you want to rebut one of my points, I want you to know that this video is the complete minimum I could spare when talking about this half of the game, and the issues with the script and gameplay combined could easily create another whole video. I'll gladly link my source and a few textbooks on criticism while I'm at it.
