We have buried George in our garden which was his favorite place to walk and hang out in the sun.
We are sad to report that our former adopted/foster cat George had to be put to sleep yesterday. He had stopped eating, was losing weight and the vet confirmed that he had an inoperable cancer.
George was an abandoned neighbourhood cat that we rescued from the SPCA about 3 years ago after he turned up there emaciated and ill. To save George from being put to sleep then by the SPCA we had to adopt him. Under our care George bounced back and enjoyed a healthy & happy couple of years living with us and then with his new foster dad Bill where George greatly enjoyed being the only cat in the house, had daily walks on the leash and a fabulous enclosed patio where he was free to roam and safely relax in the sun. George was a sweet boy that loved people and brought joy into the lives of all that knew him, he will be sorely missed.
He's buried in our garden, his favorite place to take walks.
RIP George - 2004-2019
