In this video, I will walk you through the process of how I became friends with Manson, and I'll be sharing parts of my story that I've never told the public before.

I'll be delving deeper into my story, and I'll be using letters and conversations from Charles Manson himself to tell it, with fewer of my own opinions. If you don't tell your own story, others will try to tell it for you. Many people from the Manson world have already done so, but they've gotten it all wrong. They may act like they know me, but only a select few people do. I've met everyone from the Manson Family, and when they're in a group, they spread rumors that they know nothing about.
That's why I'm the best person to tell my story, and I will do so by letting Manson explain as much as he can through words on paper and recordings of our conversations. In this video, you'll hear one of those conversations where Manson tells me something new that you may not have heard before. Do the Manson Family members tell you the truth about themselves? You decide, based on what Manson says, and my role as someone who listens to him, rather than offering my own opinions.
When it comes to books written about Manson or books that include him It is difficult to give an exact number, but there have been dozens if not hundreds of books written about Charles Manson or that include him as a subject. These books include true crime accounts, biographies, memoirs, and fictional works inspired by Manson and his followers. The number of books continues to grow as new authors and perspectives emerge. Take them all with a grain of salt but here are a few of the best sellers.
"Helter Skelter" by Vincent Bugliosi and Curt Gentry - This true crime classic was written by the prosecutor who put Manson behind bars. It tells the story of the Manson murders and the trial that followed.
"Manson: The Life and Times of Charles Manson" by Jeff Guinn - This biography delves into Manson's troubled childhood, his time in prison, and his rise to infamy.
"The Family" by Ed Sanders - This book was one of the first to delve into the inner workings of Manson's cult. It explores the lives of Manson's followers and the crimes they committed.
"Member of the Family" by Dianne Lake and Deborah Herman - Dianne Lake was the youngest member of the Manson Family, and this memoir offers a unique perspective on life with Manson and his followers.
"The Girls" by Emma Cline - This novel is a fictionalized account of the Manson Family, with a focus on the women who followed Manson. It was a critical and commercial success when it was released in 2016.
