The game data is based mainly on user ratings from gamefaqs and mobygames (about 20+ votes and 3/5+ or 7/10+ ratings), and to a lesser extent igdb, imdb, lemon64 and lemonamiga. From the early ‘90s onwards I increased the rating requirement for these to about 3.7/5 or 7.5/10 as I was making a selection for a tier list template used for polls and the lists were getting too long.
