[Synth Pop/ElectroFunk/Pop/Dance/R&B/Funk/Soul] Here is the duo Good Question with their self-titled debut and only album: "Good Question". Personally, I am disappointed that they haven't resurfaced after the shocking passing of Prince because I love this album a lot and it's a shame that it completely flopped when it was released. All I can discover on them is that they were Sean and Marc Douglas, brothers from Philadelphia. In 1988, they were signed to Prince's Paisley Park label, however his personal involvement seems unlikely. It definitely seems more like a Warner Bros. production, who partly funded and distributed the label and studio. Either that or Prince's management, whom back in the day liked to sign unknown acts to it without his knowledge. The label had little success, and Good Question surely seemed like a no-brainer to get some attention since (in my opinion) they are kind of like a knock-off Milli Vanilli ...only difference is that these guys can actually sing, haha. The music however sounds more like something that The Jets or The Breakfast Club would put out. They did manage a number one dance hit in Billboard with the Clivilles & Cole remix of their first single "Got A New Love" (Track 1) but the song only made it to number 86 on the Hot 100, and the follow-up single "Listen To Your Heart" (Track 5) was sadly another silent flop along with the album in general. Hopefully Marc Douglas & Sean Douglas resurface one day to give us an update on their whereabouts. This album was released under Warner Bros. Records, Paisley Park Records '88.

[Synth/Ambient/Electronic/Orchestration/Score/OST] Here is the complete film score to the classic Chevy Chase 1989 comedy sequel: Fletch Lives composed by the legendary Harold Faltermeyer. This video brings together all the score material composed for the film including the rare source cues that were used as SFXs in certain sections of the movie. All these scores were finally released as a limited edition package by La-La Land Records and the Universal Pictures Film Music Heritage Collection (only 3000 copies exist). For roughly 30 years an official soundtrack to this film was never released and the score material seemed impossible to obtain. Whats awesome about the tracks in this video is that they were all extracted and remastered from the original master tapes (meaning that these are the actual authentic tapes that were sent in to the sound editors when they placed the scores in the movie). As an added bonus, this video also includes the super rare track titled: Kings Of The Road (Track 21) by Martin Nethercutt which was used in the bar sequence when Irwin M. Fletcher is disguised as Ed Harley, lol. Fletch Lives is a 1989 American comedy film starring Chevy Chase, Hal Holbrook, Julianne Phillips, R. Lee Ermey, and Richard Libertini, and is a sequel to 1985s Fletch directed by Michael Ritchie. In this sequel, investigative reporter Irwin M. Fletcher (Chevy Chase) inherits a Louisiana estate when his aunt dies. Leaving his reporter career behind, Fletch travels down South to check out his new-found property. However, when the lawyer handling the estate is found murdered, Fletch becomes the prime suspect, and must resort to a bunch of amusing antics to clear his name. Despite getting mixed reviews upon release, the movie went on to gross $39.4 million worldwide and is still considered one of the great highlights in Chevy Chases impressive acting career. Harold Faltermeyer is best known for composing the Axel F theme for the feature film: Beverly Hills Cop, as well as the Top Gun Anthem for the feature film: Top Gun. Both of which shouldnt detract from the many other notable musical contributions that he has aided in throughout the 1980s (Ex: The Running Man, Thief Of Hearts, & Fletch). When it comes to Fletch Lives, Faltermeyer doesnt disappoint as most of the tracks are basically different ways (or i should say variants) of his iconic Fletch theme. With that said it should also be noted that the new material composed for this film is quite good. For example, the The Kiss (Track 11) and Another Kiss (Track 14) are nice additions that really show you how talented Faltermeyer really is. Overall, this score is truly great from start to finish because not only does Faltermeyer give us his famous Fletch motifs from the first film in a revised fashion, but he also gives us brand new material in expert ways that heighten the films action, suspense and comedy. This complete OST soundtrack score was released under La-La Land Records & Universal Pictures Film Music Heritage Collection 89 (19).

[Country/Folk/Synth Pop/Electronic/Funk/Orchestration/World/OST] Here is the complete expanded Various Artists Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album for the 1983 film: Smokey And The Bandit Part 3. While country/folk music isnt so much my cup of tea, this soundtrack is really good from start to finish. This video showcases the complete album ripped directly from the official 1983 vinyl and is exclusively remastered into FLAC format for the highest and sharpest audio quality. Also included is two bonus tracks not found on the LP: Suzi Plastic by Bill Summers & Summers Heat (Track 7) and It Ain’t The Gold by John Stewart (Track 8). Smokey and the Bandit Part 3 is a 1983 American action comedy film and a third and final sequel to Smokey and the Bandit (1977) and Smokey and the Bandit II (1980), starring Jackie Gleason, Jerry Reed, Paul Williams, Pat McCormick, Mike Henry and Colleen Camp. The film was originally entitled Smokey IS the Bandit, and did not include Jerry Reed in the cast. Some newspapers refer to original plans by featuring Gleason as both Smokey and the Bandit. According to some accounts, Jackie Gleason was to play two roles: Sheriff Buford T. Justice and a different Bandit with the original version shot in October of 1982. However, test audiences reacted poorly, finding Gleasons two roles confusing, so the studio opted to do re-shoots in April of 1983. The Bandit scenes were re-shot with Jerry Reed playing the role. Other accounts indicate that the title was more literal: that Gleason was to play only Sheriff Justice, but the character would also fill the role of the Bandit, by taking the Enos familys challenge (as Burt Reynolds character had done in the previous two films). Smokey and the Bandit Part 3 received negative reviews by critics and the film was generally regarded as the weakest of the three Bandit films in terms of both storyline and revenue. As for the soundtrack, it was released under MCA Records as Smokey and the Bandit Part 3: Music from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on vinyl and cassette tape but for only promotional purposes when the film came out in 1983. Me personally, its standout track is John Stewarts Ticket For The Wind (Track 1) which plays during the films end credits. Overall, even though the film bombed, its soundtrack is still praised for having some of the best music in the entire Smokey and the Bandit franchise. This complete various artists OST soundtrack was released under MCA Records 83.

[Synth/Ambient/Electronic/Orchestration/Score/OST] Here is the complete expanded film score to the 2000 superhero blockbuster X-Men, composed entirely by the legendary Michael Kamen (K-Men). All these scores were finally released in 2021 as an expanded limited edition package by La-La Land Records (only 3000 copies exist). Whats awesome about the tracks in this video is that they were all expanded and remastered from the original master tapes (meaning that these are the actual authentic tapes that were sent in to the sound editors when they placed the scores in the movie). Michael Kamen scored countless action movies such as Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, License To Kill, Hudson Hawk, and Last Action Hero. Fun fact: this is Kamens first and only superhero movie score. With that said, this is my favorite X-Men film score out of all the movies and it is neat to hear them in its entirety before they were edited to fit the action on the screen. Overall, Michael Kamens score to XMen helped launch a new franchise and paved the way for other ambitious superhero movies such as Sam Raimis Spider-Man films, Christopher Nolans updates on Batman and ultimately the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This complete OST soundtrack score was released under La-La Land Records 2000 (21).

[Breakdance/R&B/Synth Pop/Electro/Hip Hop/Dance/ElectroFunk] Here is the complete original soundtrack recording album for the film: Breakin 2 - Electric Boogaloo (Breakdance 2 - Electric Boogaloo). EXCELLENT OST ALBUM! It SCREAMS 1984 at the height of the break dancing craze. Electric Boogaloo was released nine months after its predecessor Breakin by TriStar Pictures and by Cannon Films a few months later. In some international locations the film was released under the title Breakdance 2: Electric Boogaloo. Another sequel, Rappin (also known as Breakdance 3) was made but had an unconnected plot and different lead characters – only Ice-T features in all three movies. Like its predecessor, much of the films soundtrack was provided by Ollie & Jerry, comprising the duo Ollie E. Brown and Jerry Knight. The title track, Electric Boogaloo (Track 1) reached number 45 on the R&B charts in 1984/85. This complete OST soundtrack was released under Polydor Records 84.

[Synth/Ambient/Electronic/Orchestration/Score/OST] Here is the rare unreleased film score for the legendary film Purple Rain composed by Michel Colombier. Let me begin by saying that i have been looking for YEARS for these scores and during those years i have learned quite a bit about them. Many fans like to think that Prince (Prince Rogers Nelson) composed them but it turns out that he didnt ...in fact he had no involvement with the film score to his blockbuster film. The only musical contributions Prince made to Purple Rain was with his group The Revolution and the iconic soundtrack that was released ...thats it. I was really excited when they announced that they would be releasing a 2017 deluxe edition for Purple Rain because i thought for sure Colombiers film score tracks would be included but sadly they werent and i was disappointed so i went out of my way a made a special custom made album containing all the score tracks used for the film. These are the actual authentic original demo tapes that were shipped in to the post production editors of the movie to use accordingly. Like most music editors they took these demo tapes and mixed certain tracks in order to elevate certain emotions displayed on the screen. I have no idea why the score for this film hasnt been released, it baffles me, i mean it even won an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score! Theres just so much great synth work put into this that its a shame no one decided to market it, hell i would have since the film was a HUGE HIT ...who wouldnt buy this? and better yet what Prince fan wouldnt want to get their hands on this? lol! The film stars Prince in his acting debut playing The Kid, a quasi-biographical character. Purple Rain was developed to showcase Princes talents and contains several concert sequences. The film grossed more than $68 million at the box office in the United States and over $80 million worldwide, thus making a large profit on its $7.2 million budget. Prince intended to cast Denise Matthews aka Vanity, leader of the girl group Vanity 6, but she left the group before filming began. Her role was initially offered to Jennifer Beals (who turned it down because she wanted to concentrate on college) before going to Apollonia Kotero, a virtual unknown at the time. Never the less these scores deserve an official release but i think the reason they havent been released is because Colombier sadly died of cancer in 2004 and quite possibly the demo tapes are all that there is. All in all, its unfortunate that after all these years a score still hasnt been released and i can almost bet money that this video is going to be the CLOSEST THING that youll ever get to an official one. ...this is for you Prince & Colombier ...RIP. This complete OST soundtrack score is unreleased and has no distribution label 84.

[AOR/Melodic Rock/Pop Rock/Synth Pop/Glam Rock/OST] Here is the complete Various Artists Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album for the 1986 film: Crystal Heart (Voglia DAmore). An EXCELLENT OST that is just so good from start to finish. I once uploaded this complete soundtrack on my channel back in 2017 and ever since that videos upload I learned more about the soundtrack and the movie from the fans. For starters, this entire soundtrack was produced by Joel Goldsmith whom is the son of legendary film composer Jerry Goldsmith (Alien, Total Recall, Poltergeist, etc.). Not to mention a couple of Joels instrumental cues from the film are also included on this album. The Crystal Heart Theme (Track 3) is a moody / melancholic piece of electronic music, while the Breaking Free Theme (Track 10) is more dramatic and intense in composition. The remaining 10 tracks on the album are an eclectic mix of pop and rock sounds that define the 80s to its fullest. But the real standout however is Andrea Robinsons Hearts Beat On (Track 8) which I have come to realize that the album version is fairly different from the one presented in the film. The unreleased film version is shorter, has a different intro synth portion, and there is also a prominent sax solo at the end. Because of this realization I have decided to revisit/re-upload this amazing soundtrack (now in enhanced quality) while also including the film version of Hearts Beat On (Track 13) as a well deserving bonus track. Crystal Heart is a 1986 Romance/Drama flick directed by Gil Bettman and stars actress/model Tawny Kitaen, you might remember her from the infamous Whitsnake s Here I Go Again music video, as well as when she played Tom Hanks girlfriend in 1984s: Bachelor Party. She also dated Robbie Crosby of glam metal group Ratt, and at one time married David Coverdale of Whitesnake. The movie is basically The Boy in the Plastic Bubble meets Club MTV where Tawny Kitaen plays pop-rocker Alley Daniels whom eventually falls in love with a man in a glass chamber (Lee Curreri) that suffers from an immunity weakness. While the movie is weird the soundtrack on the other hand is downright incredible; Although I cant seem to understand the marketing behind it. Strangely enough the soundtrack really didnt catch on in the United States as it was only released on vinyl and cassette in Italy (under the title: Voglia DAmore) and Mexico/Spain (under the title: Corazón De Cristal). Still to this day the soundtrack has never been released on CD and that is a real shame because all of the songs on it are really well produced for its time period when Melodic Rock/Synth Pop were all the rage. This complete OST soundtrack was released under RCA, RCA Italiana Records 86.

[Europop/Euro House/Pop/Pop Rock/Electronic] Known to the public in the 1990s as Hobie Buchannon from his appearance in the David Hasselhoff / Pamela Anderson TV Series: Baywatch, here is Jeremy Dunn Jackson with his 1995 follow up second album titled: Always ! Cheesy but surprisingly a decent album! I personally find this album better than his debut titled: Number One as everything feels better produced. This album is mainly known for the song: French Kiss (Track 3) as a music video was made for it featuring Pamela Anderson as CJ Parker along with a CD single. Jeremy Dunn Jackson (born October 16, 1980) is an American actor and singer. He is best known for his role as Hobie Buchannon on the television show Baywatch. Hobie Buchannon (Jeremy Jackson) is the son of Mitch Buchannon (David Hasselhoff) and has played him from season 2 through season 10 on the Baywatch series (1991–1999). According to David Hasselhoff, the role of Hobie was almost given to Leonardo DiCaprio after Brandon Call left the series. Hobie was also named after famous surf and sailing entrepreneur and pioneer Hobart Hobie Alter who was also the founder of the famous Hobie company. Jeremy was introduced to music by David Hasselhoff, who starred on Baywatch, on which Jackson appeared. Jackson later supported Hasselhoff on his 1993 European tour and was later signed by Peter Lopez. This follow up album to Number One was produced/made in Germany and was released under UltraPop records. In my opinion this album has better songs on it than his debut like: My Friend (Track 5) and: Sex (Track 4) while others like Alone (Track 1) and Ill Always Be Around (Track 2) scream the eurohouse craze of the 90s, lol. Also included is the track You Can Run (Track 11) and Im Gonna Miss You (Track 12) which are re-released tracks from his debut. With that said theres also a pretty decent cover of Bananaramas hit song: Cruel Summer (Track 10). I find this album very reminiscent to Joey Lawrences 1993 self titled album where it was only marketed towards the teen generation who watched the TV series in which they appeared in at the time. Today, Jeremy is a motivational speaker & fitness guru whom has overcome his addictions and obstacles that plagued him post Baywatch. Overall, even though this album is corny, cheesy, and a little bad at times, it is still a solid effort at marketing a teen idol into the music business. This album was released under Ultrapop Records 95.

[Glam Rock/Synth Rock/Hard Rock/AOR/Metal/Glam Metal] Here is the legendary Darby Mills and her group The Unsung Heroes with their first and only album titled: Never Look Back. I have to admit this is possibly one of my favorite glam metal (glam rock) albums. I also know that a lot of Darby Mills fans consider this to be her best album and quite frankly i definitely agree. Born Darby Phyllis Mills in Vernon, British Columbia, Mills began singing back up vocals for Canadian bands in the late 1970s, most notably the British Columbia based band, Steelback. However, most of her fame came from being the lead vocalist for the Canadian rock group Headpins. The Headpins started as a side project for Chilliwack members Brian McLeod and Ab Bryant, and future Loverboy drummer Matt Frenette. The group underwent further changes before settling on the lineup that produced 1982s Turn it Loud, released in the U.S. on the label that was home to AC/DC (It also contains my favorite track from them titled: Just One More Time). A successful second album (1983s Line Of Fire) and tours with several prominent rock bands at the time (including Whitesnake and KISS) led to the assumption that the Headpins would be one of Canadas next big exports. Unfortunately, The Headpins never could really exploit true success and Darby was always ambitious of doing her own things so she decided to split from the group to form her own band and thus this album was born. She gathered the best talent that she could find to form The Unsung Heroes: Corey James Phillips on Guitar, Shelley Andrushko on Bass, Paul Minshall on Keyboards, Jeff Slewidge on Drums, Keith Bennett on Harmonica, Doug Edwards on Bass, Burke Ehmig on Guitar, and Scotty Hall on Guitar. In 1991 this newly formed group toured with Lee Aaron across Canada for that whole summer, and then they hit the clubs for another year. In the end Never look Back yielded 4 singles and one music video: Cry To Me (Track 2) ...Not nearly enough to compete with in the video age that was drastically changing to meet the 90s fads. This album failed to make it big yet Darby is still kicking, she ended up going back to do some reunion tours with the Headpins yet in 2016, she officially announced that she was leaving the group ...for good in an attempt to reinvent her career and become a solo artist better known now as: The Darby Mills Project. This album was released under WEA Records 91.
