Well, why isn't this a pleasant surprise. Haven't been editing, and when I did, I didn't finish. But recently I reconnected with the Silent Hill game series, a series I always loved more (and before) Resident Evil, and I still think it is true.
My favorite in the series is the first game, and all my favorite characters are from the first, including Lisa and, especially, Harry. I've never been the one to be a serious shipper of couple, and to be honest, I think Harry is compatible with Lisa or Cybil. But I always liked Harry and Lisa together more, but unfortunately, it can never happen. And I can only imagine how Lisa must have felt to be left alone after she mutates and Harry runs away. I am sure it left her just heartbroken and I am sure if she did feel for him, she'd want anything to get Harry to stay in Silent Hill, even to be selfish enough to have him forget about Cheryl. It seems in her character.
I thought this song would be perfect to show how she felt to try and get over Harry and deal with being all alone in Alessa's nightmare. This came together in less than 2 hours and this is my longest video to date. I almost cried while editing it, I can just feel so closely to Lisa and the singer.

Hmmm, I feel like I should have finished my March Madness video... but the Muses speak at odd times.
I know you guys missed these two! I am so Ellis and Miku, but I find Nick and Rei so interesting. I am so disrespectful.
This idea is not new. I did it before, never posted it (most likely because it was unfinished, and I disliked what I had) and its lost on my dead external hard drive, so I had to start over. I still dont really feel like it was as exciting as and as sassy as I wanted it to be, and how it looked in my mind.
I am pretty sure after About to BLOW everything will look boring, and I know I cant top that and continue to build from there. It isnt once in a lifetime thing, but it was pretty fucking awesome, and I am, indeed, extremely proud of that video.
What sucks is that when editing this, this video seemed a lot longer. Then I watch it back, and I think, Thats it?
Sorry for the repitch (this is just a song that was so awkward to repitch. It sounded gross up 6 half keys, or down 6) and reverb. It kind of makes it sound like you are in a club with the song playing, though.
And as CRAZY as this sounds, I always think of Rei when I hear Nicki Minaj, because that attitude she gives her songs (and her songs only) makes me think of what I believe Reis personality is. When she is dressing like a whore and whining over her dead finacé AT THE SAME TIME. And you have to admit, this song is shockingly fitting for my prized crack pairings (a friend for my homegirl Lily ITS LIKE ITS WRITEN FOR THEM! Lol)
Story(?):
Nick was feeling like Lady Luck was on his side; at least when it came to getting into someones pants. Cocky, and casually, he spies a girl alone, and he quickly assumes she is easy and would probably do him well. And thats when he goes in on the kill, and in return the whole plan explodes in his face. She is ill-tempered and stubborn, much like Nick, and refuses to be anywhere near him. Irritated, but just as stubborn, he continues to pursue her and finds out how much she has dealt with her finacé and her haunting, and eventually finds himself (unbelievably) falling for her. Rei even lightens up and finds he has grown onto her, and it happy to find his best friend, Ellis, gets along well with her lonely friend, Miku.

NOTE: This is a video to help me get over things that make me want to bitch. So deal with the fact it isnt 100% consistent with RE.
It was about time I uploaded about what gets the most amount of hatred from me on a daily basis, and thats my choir teacher. He is a politician who only cares about his own success as a choir director, and has shown how full of himself he is, and basically acts like he is the king of music. While still being such an immature little kid who has never had the courage to confront me about how much I misbehave since I stopped giving him his self-entitled respect because he is scared to hear from my dad. He seems to be hesitate to even look at me. Its like watching an over confident little boy try to command an army boat without having his parents find out.
Id quit choir, sure, but I love performing and singing, and even someone as disgusting as my director can not stop me from it. And now in my 3rd year of high school, and having been in choir the entire time, I have put so many hours into it with all the perks of a senior choir member next year, I cant stop now. I have the satisfaction knowing he brags about his glorious talent for everyone to see, yet he is still a nobody, stuck solely as a choir teacher. He is the one who lost, not me, because I am the most dedicated one on that stage, and I gave him my complete devotion, and I never got a solo, appreciation, or respect. He lost someone like me.
This song is the story of my life, and I feel like I could walk into my choir room and jump on my directors piano and sing this to him from deep within my heart. I have so much aggravation for this guy, I am surprised I have yet made a video about him, or even gone to therapy for it. Or in the very least, punched him unconscious.
I know the video isnt very exciting, but vents arent really ever for fancy effects, but to use symbolism to display my emotions. However, the clips just perfectly fit without much effort from me. It was quite awesome to experience.

Sheva Myself. I have Sheva sing since I am a choir student. I sing. Its what us choir students do. Because just being myself is already above being him.

I have edited two other videos (both Nick/Rei) and I didnt like them. Then I made this.

- Holy shit, finally my beloved Sniper gets the spotlight
- I got a coloring/overlay-texture that worked really well

I know this song doesnt really work with the Snipers personality or emotions as he has always been an assassin, but let me have my fun. I am sure anyone would feel some sort of panic after killing someone, and I am sure hed feel guilty because he would not get punished due to being on either RED or BLU. But in the end, he starts to kills bitches left and right and gets used to it (everyone respawns anyway!)
Honestly, I really wanted to have the challenge of manipulating the clips to have the Sniper show grief. Hopefully I have succeeded.

Kind of ironic I use a song that samples from another better known song to a game known as a complete rip off of a much better known game.
I blame DeadlyEcstacy for this, and his video to the same song. I did not really pull from his video, so similarities are just coincidental. I mean, have you seen our collabs? Two of a kind, peas in a pod....
Anyway, I just felt a bit of a Team Fortress mood coming on, and this just was thrown together because it wasnt like I came into it really inspired. Just felt like I needed to get some editing done lol
And no, I dont feel the same hatred as many TFers do towards Final Combat (I really wanna spell it with a K lol) because I think it is pretty smart to take from something so successful and make it your own. I mean, the gameplay and trailers obviously steal from TF2, but the characters are completely different. The cast even includes women, the bombshell sniper and the KAWAII-DESU medic/nurse. So at least the creators know how to tend to their horny Chinese audience and cater to each preference of a woman lol
While everyone is too busy claiming everything in the world needs to be original and never seen before or else it is a complete total hack, I will appreciate how much a sexbomb this woman is with her body and her sniper gun (conveniently labeled Sniper gun, too!). However, something tells me that the Skyper would feel extremely threatened as a female sniper with FCs Sniper in the world. Let the catfight begin, and have all the boys watch with pleasure.

Wow, can you believe it? I opened this account two years ago! It sure as hell doesnt feel as long. I have to say it has been such a good time pursuing editing after giving it up for LPs long time back. It has given me the chance to really get good at it, express myself, and cope with harsh emotions. It also gave me new friends, and great supporters, and an audience that will accept and enjoy my favorite crack that is Ellis/Miku and Nick/Rei. I really cant thank you all enough, I couldnt imagine my life without Ellikiins. Except maybe doing more LPs. Ugh.
Also, on a similar note, the original video will be a year old on the 26th. Two anniversaries in one? Bitchin.
I am really proud of myself for not only pulling off one storyline-driven video, but now two! And I am especially happy to continue (most likely finish off) this storyline. This was a lot of work (mostly in the first verse) to thinking of scenes to portray the story, and just a fist-up-your-ass-ful of manips. I love crossovers, but manips can be so... ugh. The wet blanket of editing, for sure. But in comparing with the original, you can see how much I have improved in masking. Funny enough, the original video is when I discovered feathering so its really when I started to mask. I know of some crossover-ers that will pull the background so they look to be in the same scene, which I did once in the video, but doing it is really hard with my source material. But hey, one manip closer to not being so lazy in crossovers!
Also, finding footage fitting for Miku was HARD. Because I wanted all their looks to be consistent, so I couldnt pull from Fatal Frame 1, and in Fatal Frame 3 she has so little cinematic dialogue, and she is so quiet and keeps all her emotions a secret for majority of the game, finding something to portray her being upset at someone else and arguing was hard. So its really Leon verbally beating her up in the beginning because she NEVER TAAALLLKKKS. Dammit Tecmo, I want my beloved Miku to hog up all the attention!
I really hope you enjoy, and thank you again for all your support and love. I am beyond grateful and blessed.
Story:
In the opening scene, the story picks up where it left off with Leon and Miku returning home after the club. The air is very tense between the two, as Leon is very mad and Miku keeps quiet as to not set him off.
Finally, Leon breaks the silence, What do you think you were doing? Going off like that? I was so worried something got you, you know zombies are still around! And you were with some boy! You havent even met him before!
Miku, ashamed, looks down and ignores him, knowing what she did, she did it for love. She thinks about the time she spent with Ellis at the club, and realizes how much she has fallen for him, and that it has hurt the trust she had with Leon, and that in turn hurts her deeply. She then realizes she has found a change within herself, a sense of independence, and she was tired of Leon being so overprotective.
It is then revealed of the time Leon and Miku have been a tight-knit team against the zombies during the apocalypse. She has told him everything about her, and she has really found Leon to be her older brother. Finally, someone who understands her just like her own (now dead) older brother did. Shes always appreciated his protection, but it is obvious he has become too much of a papa bear protecting his cub.
Upset, she leaves for her room, and Leon quickly realizes he has really hurt her. Regretting his outburst, he goes to her and tells her how sorry he is for being so harsh to her. She doesnt accept it right away, as she is more mad about how he broke up her and Ellis. He apologizes for the last time and gives it a rest, and goes to leave her to her own thoughts, and its then she sternly says, What I did... with Ellis. I did for love.
Leon is taken far aback, but understands how much Ellis meant to her, and what he did was not right.
Feeling guilty, he quietly says, I.... I want to make it up to you. Miku is overjoyed when Leon then tells her, Go back to him.
She sprints it out the door to return back to the club, and Leon then learns to trust and let go on his grip of Miku. Ellis getting his weapons again to leave back home, overhears Miku calling his name, and quickly runs outside, not even bothered by the sudden attention of the zombies. Ellis runs to her and the two share their first kiss.
And they lived happily evar afteeeer :D Awww!
