In this LIVE lesson, Golf Digest Top 5 Coach Cameron McCormick fixes a student's inconsistent ball striking and directional misses with The Ball Backwards Blueprint. This new data-driven approach to contact shows you how to self-assess and correct your misses – so you can make confident swings and have a lot more fun playing great golf.
The Ball Backwards Blueprint is 3 simple steps:
Step 1: Hit 3-5 shots
Step 2: Identify your ball flight pattern
Step 3: Make a targeted tweak at impact to eliminate the error
For example, this student's ball flight pattern was right misses followed by overcorrected shots to the left. He also struggled with topping his three-wood. Cameron diagnoses the primary issue as "off-center contact – toe strikes."
