After Quantum of Solace's PS2 disaster, Eurocom got back on their feet with the GoldenEye Wii remake in 2010. It was mostly well received, but left many fans annoyed that it was "just another CoD clone". I was one of those originally, but the game eventually grew on me especially when I tried it out with the Wii Zapper. It's a very solid shooter with great gunplay when you forget it's a GoldenEye reimagination.
The multiplayer shut down a few years ago, but it's still possible to play online thanks to the fans. I'll try to play after I complete the main campaign - if you'd like to join me, set it up following the guide on the community Discord: discord.gg/Ggy67wskuj
