SURPRISE! Today I have another Citizen Soldier cover for you! :) :D Full disclosure, this cover is NOT part of the holiday lineup I am currently doing on my channel (hence the regular outro). However, this is a cover I've been wanting to release for a while now. I recorded it almost as soon as it came out last month around mid-November because it resonated so much w/ me. And I was gonna release this cover shortly after the release of the original, but then a bajillion things happened, life got crazy, and I got sick, and it kept me from working on the video for this cover for a long time. But not anymore!!
Since the band just released their newest album, 'Scarecrow,' which this song is on (and which I highly recommend you go check out: ctznsldr.com/scarecrow ), today is the perfect day to release this cover!
(Side note: There is one big lyric change I made: in the original chorus, the line is "life goes on, but I'm stuck in December." I changed "December" to "September" because it more closely relates to my own personal trauma. Hope you understand!)
