Since the Middle Ages Bohemia and Danube have been connected by the historic Golden Trail, which was named after the wealth it brought. The system of trails has stabilized in the form of three main branches: Prachatice, Vimperk and Kašperskohor. Follow today's footpaths and discover the unique nature and unique sights of the “Green Roof of Europe”. Follow the newly identified 631 km long hiking trails created by the Interreg project and follow the Goldsteig network of the same name with 13 cross-border routes. Wander through the South Bohemian and Pilsen regions along the trails that follow the marked trails of the Czech Tourist Club and are equipped with the trail logo, information boards and resting places.
