Aloha! Yet another track whipped together in a few hours for the Reddit VGM February contest! I think the sound quality of this one turned out unbelievably well!
The theme this month was final stage/final dungeons, and rather than go along the route of choosing something Final Fantasy-ish, which I would've normally done, I decided to scour YouTube for something i've never heard of before and work with that. The result is this and personally I absolutely love it!
I've found the Reddit VGM contests a massive amount of fun, as I find i'm a lot more productive when I just put things together on the fly than spend ages arranging, which in some cases I find can become a bit tedious and I fall out of love of the project altogether.

Hey-oh! I bought this game last week for nostalgias value, and while it was loading up, I kept thinking to myself im sure the younger me loved the Intro track, and 15 years later that love hasnt changed! Naturally I had to cover it, but I didnt want to go full heavy metal on it, I felt it needed a delicate touch.
If you like awkward controls, and fogging thats so bad that enemies simply appear out of no-where, grab this game! At the height of Activisions time, in the very late 90s/00s, this came out, along with the epic Spiderman game. Its easily one of the most under-rated games of the PS1 era, with an amazing storyline, great characters, and endless hours of fun. Keep your Medal of Warfares and Call of Battlefields, ill stick with my ol school games ;)

Ah yes, another DW cover. This was requested from me so long a go before i had EMGz or even the later parts of bettering my skills, and i have to say sound wise, its probably one of my best!

I had a spare hour to kill before heading out for dinner so put this together :D First time ive recorded acoustic, definitely gonna have a play around some more tomorrow, but thought id throw this up for ya in the mean-time!
No killer EMG sound this time round as the Ibanez is out of action for a bit, but i believe the Schechter and Epiphone sufficed!
This is obviously a little more different from what i usually do, but Nobuo Uemetsus music is just phenomenal and i personally really love the original piece. Hope you all dig!

Hey Everybody! (In the voice of Dr. Nick)
Yet another Dynasty Warriors classic. I decided i wanted to take on something a bit more different and rather than metal it up, stick closer to the original material. In Full Bloom is quite a laid back and pretty piece, with a somewhat tricky solo at the end that i eventually managed to nail. Its a bit more slow paced, but i enjoyed doing it none-the-less! Hope yall enjoy it too!
Thisll be my last thing for a few weeks as i jet off on holiday where i shall be buying all-sorts of new gear, finally ending up in London seeing Dream Theatre! Big ups to subscribers new and old, you all rock!

Pesky phones!
How yall doing? I wanted this up yesterday but i wasnt happy with the end solo so spent a bit more time today working on it. I had been planning on doing this one for ages and finally got round to it in my spare time and i gotta admit, i had a whole lotta fun doing it!
In other news, i have the track list ready for the massive Dynasty Warriors Medley and shall start laying down the drums next week, as well as dropping the rythm and lead guitars in there are well, not to mention sending it over to my collab buddy who i have no doubt will bring his own unique flavour to the medley!
Also in the works is another collab with an old friend of mine, and were gonna rip up a Street Fighter tune!
...also another DW4 cover at some point, and its also a collab, because for some mad reason people enjoy working with me! :D
Finally, my buddy Sam Delanoe who has featured a couple of times on my channel is laying down the lyrics for my Original as i type. He sent me a demo the other day...all i can say is WOW! The whole project went on the back burner because my voice wasnt powerful enough for what i wanted, and so it sat in my Garageband folder doing nothing. Going back to it, i really wanted to put it out there, so went to Sam who is the singer for his band Demise of Sanity, and he has certainly brought it with this! In anycase, i cant wait to hear the whole thing, and i sure as hell cant wait to share it with you guys and gals!

Tekken 2 was one of my most favourite games on the ol PS, and in particular, King was my favourite character. So i decided to sit down and whack this together, and since there wasnt too much to work with, but not wanting to let the tasty rhythms go to waste, i brought my buddy Ro in on this. His solo is impeccable!

Hyeeuh! Got some killer tone on the ol Schecter!
I was going through some DW tracks, and came across this and had to get it down. The original is quite aggressive, but i hope with the killer sound from my Schecter i managed to make this real heavy for everyone! Gotta say, my favourite part is the end. Spent a whole lotta time on the drums and hope its paid off!
