In today's oil painting time lapse I'm creating a portrait of one of my favorite dog breeds - a golden retriever! I'll be painting alla prima and talking about how I work in this method to capture a canine portrait, and also be talking about how I take great reference photos for portraiture as well as a general pep talk on the artist's mindset.
