Golden Ratio is denoted by Φ or φ (Phi) and is an irrational number with an approximate value of 1.618034. The trend we see in the Fibonacci Sequence is that when we take a number in this sequence and divide it by the previous number, it gives us a value close to Phi, and it increasingly gets closer to Phi as the sequence progresses. The relevance of the Fibonacci Sequence and the prevalence of golden ratio can be noticed in many aspects of nature, from pinecones to galaxies.
