In the following weeks I will be posting a new series of videos about these Gold famly members to show how lovable they are. And I will post many things under the description for this series because I won't be able to say all the things in the video
I adore Stay Gold. The Stay Gold family is my favorite family in horse racing. They were the first family I was so obsessed with after I first got into racing. And now, I am still just as obsessed as back then. Therefore, "The Stay Gold Family" is something I had been planning to do a long time ago. And waited for quite some time to finally bring them to all of you. I wish you will all enjoy them and fell in love with them
For Stay Gold, I had trouble coming up with a proper title because he was a horse with so many titles: a mad horse, a veteran, a legend. But at the end, I chose the single word that describe him the best: The journey-
The ultimate form of a romantic horse
The love letter from Japanese horse racing
He witnessed the final glory of the Mejiro family
He watched Silent Suzuka’s blazing front-running
The heartbreaking fall on Silent Sunday
He lived through the rise and fall of the entire Golden Generation
He saw the turn-of-the-century reign of an overlord
He witnessed the revenge of Meisho Doto
and the dawn of a new era after TM Opera O
Thereafter, he not only became a beloved champion admired by all, but also, left a indelible mark on the history of Japanese horse racing
The life of Stay Gold can only be described as Legendary
But I am still having trouble thinking of proper title for other members. So, here is the list of horses that is coming up, and if you want to help me out. Feel free to come up with ideas on what do you remember them as:

For his pedigree, although people associate the Gold Family with “good in Hanshin”, “not so great in Tokyo” this sort of unorthodox pedigree for Japan. There are actually two main theory about him, and the first is that
Stay Gold himself is actually very good in Tokyo. Looking at his past result, he kept pulling decent result here in Tokyo, along with his win in Dubai. This trait indicates that he is very much a SS offspring inhereting his agility that perform well in racetracks like Tokyo (I also think Princely Gift played a huge part in his success in Tokyo racecourse)
The second theory is that Stay Gold is a long distance horse which passed down stamina. His children often have incredible stamina to sustain for a draining race. On the other hand, his children tend to not perform so well in sprint and mile
But nonetheless, for Stay Gold to keep pulling decent results, even not winning, still speaks to his high comprehensive abilities which allowed him to perform under all kinds of race pattern.
