Flying to Tahiti is not something you want to gamble with. In this video, we share why we always arrive a day early before an international flight or cruise—and how that extra buffer day in San Francisco turned into a relaxed, low-stress sightseeing experience before our flight to Papeete, Tahiti.
Because our flight didn’t depart until almost midnight, and with mobility challenges this trip, walking all over San Francisco wasn’t realistic. Instead, we booked an 11-hour small-group tour with Extranomical Tours that included stops at the Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods National Monument, and Napa Valley wine country.
