Playing through Golden Axe III in "Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection" for PS3!

Oh! Golden Axe III never came out at retail in the States--or Europe, for that matter. Wikipedia says "it was made available in North America via the Sega Channel online service in 1995" (the cart was out in '93 in Japan, Korea, and Asia).

In RPCS3 in Windows with ReShade filters to combat the extreme washed-out blur of this port.

(Oh yeah I forgot I was recording the web browser haha well except for the side oops.)

No cheat codes for extra continues or lives shown on GameFAQs and I DID just run out of 'em toward the end, had to do a little light save-scumming on the bad ending boss. Apparently what I should be doing is just learning to spam Chronos' unblockable super attack through the whole game. 'pppp'

I wanna play as that strapped bird dude.

Anyway aside from the kinda tough difficulty (no Easy difficulty setting, even ; D) and I guess that unbalanced super move, I thought this was a really well-done game! The various moves really let you mix things up, and the combinations of enemies are pretty sure keep you on your toes. I even liked the music and graphics!
