today is my birthday! and this video is a kickstarter to my personal goal to redraw my OC, GiGi, every year on this day 👍
if you a curious on why my character looks the way she does, its because there are multiple symbols and references to the way I've grown up and who I am as a person riddled on her design:
*The shattered golden eye and gray eye represent the way I have viewed the world, gold symbolizing optimizsm and gray for pessimism (I tend to switch back and forth sometimes)
*the cross on my jacket symbolizes I am a Christian
*the crazy orange and blue striped hair are not only my two favorite colors but also symbolize my funky and strange nature
just to name a few :)
a full backstory on my OC will be coming soon, either through animatics, art, you name it! Hope you'll stick around to see ;)

A long while back I claimed I was in the process of creating short voiceclaim animatics for one of my first and favorite Ninjago OCs Canada. She is a part of a Ninjago mini AU titled Legend of the Snow Lynx which focused on developing the Formlings more during the events of SoFS :3
Ive compiled all the animatic clips together into one video along with a short animated run cycle in hopes to give you a glimpse of who she is as a character and showcase her headcanoned voiceclaim (Kala from Tarzan) ^^ these may be short but they do take a heck of a long time to make so sorry for the wait haha 😅

Ive been getting into this habit of making redraws of my old works just to see how far Ive come in terms of art, so I did one of my bigger favorites made way back in 2020 (3 years ago wow I feel old) of a portrait of the three admins when they were all close friends. their story make me cry evrytiem 😔😔
either way, I had a lot of fun trying to make the final product look more like a legitimate painting by experimenting with lighting and brushes, all the fun stuff ^^ and redrawing my art has been SUPER encouraging to help me see that I have made lots of progress, and I cant wait to get even better :DD
