This is to share one of my many 500 Kilometres drives from South Australia to the Gold fields in Victoria Golden Triangle in Australia.
This particular trip is to St Arnauds area.

On this occasion I am using my Minelab GPX 5000 and using the new Coilteck coil the Camo Elite.

I have been trying different settings and found that having the
Rex Gain on 18 and Stabilizer on 1. and YES these settings work..!!!

The detector was very quiet and humming quite nicely..I found small gold no problem at all in the heavy mineralised soil.
So it just goes to show keep playing with settings and keep pushing the detector to its limits like the real professional gold prospectors do.

Its always great to find gold so close to camp....
