World-renowned chef, restauranteur and TV host Guy Fieri was honored with VFW’s Gold Medal of Merit during the Business Session on July 30, 2024 at the 125th VFW National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. Fieri’s support of veterans and first responders through his Guy Fieri Foundation earned him the honor. Accepting on Fieri’s behalf was Brian Daly, executive director of the Guy Fieri Foundation. Fieri appeared via video to offer his thanks.
