My trip to Tibooburra in October 2016.
In this video I will show you how and what I use to make grid lines so I can detect every inch of ground as possible to try to make sure I pick up all of those sub gram or big gold nuggets, with my trusty Minelab SDC 2300 metal detector. Also a quick look at the Tibooburra Caravan park and some of the wild life I encounter on my way up to the Tibooburra goldfields.
You can see the Captain Charles Sturts Replica Whalers boat out the northern entrance of the town in 1844 /1845 This expedition was to find an inland sea. This is a reminder of how hard it was for the early explorers.
( There was no satellite back then or google earth to help them. )
Not like the modern explorers now.
