I team up with James Pankiewicz of @bujintv2020 to embark on an epic journey across the Island of Okinawa in Japan, to discover the origins of traditional Karate. In part 1, we visit Kume Village to learn about the Chinese connection to the Ryukyu Kingdom, and its influence on the development of Karate, and also visit the Meibukan Dojo and Tetsuhiro Hokum Sensei to explore the art of Goju Ryu.
