Michael says:
In these poetry workshop videos I explore how or why I wrote the poem and suggest some ways people can write a poem.

One way any of us - child or adult - can write poems is by hearing or reading a poem and following that up by thinking of the poem as a question.
So we can think up a reply.

When we reply, we can say, ‘I’ll write a reply and it’ll be a bit like the poem I’ve just heard.’
