Last week, from October 24th through November 2nd, I took a Halloween trip to New York with my Mom and Sister Julia.
We visited, hung out with our cousins and friends, and explored many places during our trip. But the main highlight we experienced on our trip was entering the spookiest place in the Hudson Valley - Sleepy Hollow. We stayed there for 3 nights and experienced several sights, food, and events. We also attended a Halloween Parade in Tarrytown, which the parade was led by none other than the Headless Horseman!
After that, we returned to New York and attended a Broadway Musical in Times Square, where we experienced Back to the Future: The Musical! It was spectacular and one heck of a Wild Ride! We then spent the next two nights in Connecticut, before Halloween, hanging out with some of my mom and sister’s friends.
We, then, once again, headed back to New York on Halloween Night, where I dressed up as Peter Pan while my Mom dressed as a Witch. We wandered through the Streets of Brooklyn and encountered a ton of Amazing Lights, Decorations, and a bunch of wandering Trick or Treaters. After all the Fun, we flew back home to Sacramento, California the next evening!
