Take a journey with Brandon Macdonald, a PhD student at the University of Melbourne's Bio21 Institute, to investigate the future of solar energy. Brandon peers into the quantum world of nanoparticles in an attempt to find ways to turn them into inks that can turn sunlight into electricity. Specifically, he has found a way to produce and incorporate those inks into solar cells more efficiently which they hope will reduce the cost of manufacturing these types of solar cells.
