$The YCC 2025 Artist Collaboration with LaJuné McMillian! #YCCPartyxLGDisplay #LGxGuggenheim Artist and creative technologist LaJuné McMillian reimagines embodiment in digital and physical spaces. Their work blends performance, motion capture, and extended reality (XR) to challenge the ways technology represents and limits bodily expression. McMillian is the creator of the Black Movement Library, a groundbreaking archive of motion capture data from Black performers. Through XR experiences, workshops, and conversations, they explore themes of liberation, world-building, and representation. For this year’s YCC Party, LaJuné will transform the Guggenheim rotunda into an arena for a collective experience.
