The absolutely PERFECT sub 5 run in Goime 500 V1 has been DONE! WE DID IT! THIS IS INSANE!
I don't know what to say. This has been an incredible achievement for me and all the effort and determination put into it was worth it. I am extremely satisfied with this time.
At first, I was only intending to set a new world record (which only required a time shorter than 7:50), but as I was playing, I was thinking to myself, "I can do much better than this... I don't want someone beating my record again like a few months ago." So for three straight days, I've been striving to shorten my time when I came to the realization that a milestone was ahead of me, which was sub 5.
This sub 5 time is nearly humanly impossible, and I cannot count how many tries I have done to achieve it. (I have done much more runs than just the ones I've uploaded).
I would like to thank everyone in the Goime 500 Speedrun discord server for all their support! I hope to see you guys once again once I get a better computer to try out the 2017 Goime 500!
I will no longer be doing speedruns in this category unless:
- Someone beats my record (but I highly doubt it will happen)
- I have nothing better to do
- Working on a huge project and to fill some videos in
