First, I explain the setup I used in this video for clipping part, but it's just an example. Please read all of description if you want to learn the detail of this trick.
=Setup=
- get ISG, target to the right "side wall", backwalk to the corner
- (backflip,) downroll, dryroll
- put on a bomb, pull out one more bomb right after it, keep Z-target and go to the corner
- shield drop a bomb and backflip for 1st hovering (big red - 3rd explosion frame of the 1st bomb)
- backflip again for 2nd hovering (1st-8th black - big black frame of the 2nd bomb)
- put on the 3rd bomb, slash/swing for damage ground clip
sword: last small red - big red
hammer: 1st explosion - 3rd explosion
=The point of this trick=
If you do Ganondoor, this voiding out should save 20-25s compared with savewarp + 231 skip again. Actually there are some way to clip through "Gohma wall", but it can save only few seconds compared with savewarp + 231 skip again because you need to beat 231 anyways for re-entering the room.

Damage Ground Clip: youtu.be/s6jSjuAGPD4
Also you can be crushed by wall instead of clip and it has possibility to be faster than voiding out since you don't need to wait for falling, but it's precise and there isn't consistent setup so far youtu.be/MLZo70emCCY
=The detail of clipping=
The clipping for void out seems precise than it looks, but you can do it easily if you care about some things.
1. Angle
The required angle seems kinda precise. It could be inconsistent/not working if you use different angle. These are specific examples:
- Taget to the right "side wall" (53247): sword and hammer both work
- Target to the "Gohma wall" + turn right (53172): sword works but hammer doesn't work
- Target to the left "side wall" + turn around: (53252): sword and hammer can work but inconsistent (I got BGS clip once with this angle but can't reproduce, maybe we need better setup for BGS/deku stick)
2. Position
You need to get close enough to the "side wall" which you would clip.
I tested like this hovering way first: twitter.com/bakeneko1048/status/1029314220469284864
This works too but often I got a bit far position from the wall and clipping didn't work. This is why i used another setup for hovering which can hovering near by the wall.
3. Slash/Swing Timing
3 Bombs Damage Ground Clip always has 4 frame window for slash/swing, but actual timing is slightly different depends on hovering height. For the setup I used in this video, you can get 2 different timing depends on your hovering is high or low:
High : last small red - 1st explosion frame
Low: last small black - big red frame
But you can see these have common 3 frames (last small red - big red frame), so it should be easy to do unbuffered
=For Bombchu=
After 2 bomb hovering, you can use bombchu for clipping instead of bomb. but chu-drop timing is slightly different depends on hovering height:
High : drop chu 1 frame before 7th black, slash/swing on the 1st explosion frame
Low: drop chu 7th black, slash swing on the 1st explosion frame
So it should be possible to make setup for chu only clipping but it would be hard.
