Help Aphrodite Find a Safe Haven
Hi everyone,
This GoFundMe is dedicated to the incredible Aphrodite Lee, who happens to be my best friend. I (Dannette Tillery) and two of her other friends ( Pam Nines & Marlene Hamlin ) are reaching out to all of you because Aphrodite is in an unfair situation that is absolutely not her fault. About a year ago, she made the brave decision to move to a new place, seeking a fresh start. However, what she encountered there was far from what she had hoped for. Her current living situation has become unlivable due to a persistent mouse problem, and now, a bug infestation has made an appearance. Also, Aphrodite needs clean air as she has COPD and Severe Asthma, and due to the mouse issues the air is not clean.
But here's the silver lining – Aphrodite has found a new, much more suitable place to call home, and it will be available in a few months. This new beginning promises her a safer and more comfortable environment, but there's a hurdle in her path. Aphrodite's income is limited and isn't expected to change significantly in the near future. To secure her new place, she needs help to cover the security deposit.
As her friends, we are stepping in, appealing to the kindness and generosity of anyone who can contribute to this GoFundMe campaign. Aphrodite has always been the rock for her friends and family, offering unwavering support and never allowing her spirits to wane, even when times are tough. She's a fighter who deserves a tranquil and secure place where she can find peace of mind, just like all of us.

Birth Certificate - $40
Security Deposit For New Place- $975
If more funds are collected then the amount asked for, those funds will go to the things Aphrodite will need for the move and also things she has lost while living in these poor conditions. The list of those things is below.

Storage Unit Rental - $80 per month (Starting in December, She will need it until April)
Storage Bins - $? (not sure of pricing because they vary but she needs quite a few since boxes will not do in this situation)
What She Will Need Moving Forward:
Mattress and Box Spring – $? (She said she will bargain hunt and get the least expensive she can find)
Pots, Pans, Dishes, Etc - $?
Linen, Bathroom Items - $?
