Since Konami apparently has no interest in making a modern Goemon / Legend of the Mystical Ninja game, the folks over at Good Feel have taken on the mantle and created something pretty cool. Enter Mameda no Bakeru. This game puts players in control of Bakeru, a shape-shifting tanuki that is on a mission to beat up an army of Japanese festival loving foes to save the country. In this footage, you can see part of the game's intro as well as the first level. Enjoy!
