Everyone has a dark past that's ready to haunt them, even for the king of the monsters himself. As a ghostly shadow lurks over Tokyo, seeking revenge towards the puny humans for what they did to him, reminding mankind the true power of the original Godzilla who first appeared and slained back in 1954, but the second generation Godzilla is also here to conquer mankind as well, so who will get to choose the fate of humanity once and for all? Is it the new and organic king of the monsters? Or a demon from a bygone era meant to be forgotten? Only way to find out is in the newest stop motion spectacle! Based on the legendary scrapped Godzilla movie from the Heisei era.
Well here it is our second project of the year and one hell of a project that was! Ever since Godzilla VS. Bagan back in 2018 i've always wanted to make my own version of cancelled Godzilla films, most notably Godzilla vs. Ghost Godzilla which was one of the many concepts that eventually lead to Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995) as we all know today, i gotta say having to make my own version of this concept was a tremendeous experience for me, i try to differentiate my version as much compared to the original concept while still taking some ideas from that and well the result is this, in my mind i wanted Ghost Godzilla to be so much more menacing with his supernatural powers and i really wanted to make this project the darkest one compared to my previous outings, this includes taking inspiration from my irrational fears from childhood where i've always think of ghost as these scary otherworldly beings that basically can alter their own existence and well i think i've accomplished enough with my version of Ghost Godzilla, this project also marks the very first time i've used the S.H. Monsterarts Godzilla (2000) Special Color Version as our main Godzilla, i love that figure and i had that figure ever since i was in grade school and i've always kept him for some big spectacular project i've always dreamed back then and now i get to finally use him, i don't know but it's such a nice satisfying feeling for me.
