At the start of the fight find a good opening to use the rotten breath incantation to apply the scarlet rot to his weak leg. Hold down L1 and deplete the full FP bar, this is enough to start the rot. [his jump or when he charges at you are good openings] then focus on his weak leg. in phase two apply the rot [hold l1 and use all your FP] when he slams his hands down and wait.
