In this episode we show that evangelicalism has de-emphasized the promised results of the gospel as described for us in Colossians 1:13,14 and replaced it with case-specific therapy. Those who have been redeemed are freed from slavery to sin. We were under Satan and the domain of darkness, but Christ redeemed us when He shed His precious blood so that we could receive His imputed righteousness. We then explain and refute the ransom theory of the atonement. We end with a reminder from Hebrews 9:12 - God's wrath was appeased through Christ's shed blood.
