Floyd Steinberg | Godox' Movelink II M2 wireless microphones review (with musical instruments) @mr_floydst | Uploaded June 2023 | Updated October 2024, 12 hours ago.
#Godox sent me their #Movelink II M2 #wireless stereo microphone transmitters for review, so I created a physical delay/echo effect. See amazon.de/dp/B0BPCBG552
Sound travels at roughly 332m/s, while radio travels at 299792458m/s, so it should be possible to create a real world delay effect using 3 microphones and a loud(enough)speaker.
Table of contents:
00:00 intro
00:26 hello
00:57 unboxing
01:54 features overview
03:54 microphone audio quality demonstration (speech)
04:37 transmitting music in stereo transmitter vs. cable comparison
06:30 using the transmitters on an electric guitar
06:54 range test: creating a real world delay effect (speed of sound vs. speed of light)
09:42 bye-bye

Some bands / artists I've been following for a long time are (among others) Massive Attack, Pink Floyd, Pet Shop Boys, Archive, A-Ha, Yes, Porcupine Tree, John Mellencamp, Jean-Michel Jarre, Metallica, Peter Gabriel and Perturbator. So my music will kind of sound like those (without ever reaching the greatness of those artists, of course). :-)
