In this video, we continue our introduction to Godot Engine 3.2. This time, we implement top down movement for our Hero character. This kind of movement is very common for RPG games.
We talk through the technique I use in all of my top down games for having better keyboard UX compared to many common initial implementations that often feel cheap. We also talk about Gamepad and WASD support to make your games feel more polished and professional.
