Goddess is a soft and beautiful, yet very upbeat, hybrid orchestral original song. It takes a lot of inspiration from various pop, hip-hop and R&B artists. I’ve always had a love of the smooth sounds of music from those genres and I thought it would be a great fit for this composition! Goddess is not really written about anyone in particular. It is more just me, a trans demi-girl, trying to write what gay panic sounds like to me. :)

The sound of this composition is also heavily inspired by various anime soundtracks. I’ll give you bonus points if you can guess what anime I was watching while writing this piece! It has nothing to do with what I wrote the song about. The anime’s soundtrack just inspired how I wrote the soundscape to this song. I’ll give you a hint, season 2 had just aired this last fall.
