Jesus sacrificed his life for forgiveness for our sins. He died, was buried, and was raised from the dead by God, His Father.

Through one human, God fulfilled his promises of a King and of a resurrection. We are able to truly look to Christ as our example, because he too experienced true temptation. He too experienced true death. By God's love and mercy, Jesus experienced the first resurrection that we may one day hope to experience.
