Many people cast shade on the Bible because they imagine that it has been corrupted and changed in the past 2000 years. Despite this fact being simply incorrect (see studies on textual criticism), it also means that God failed! God intended to give His Word to His people. If His Word was corrupted, then God failed! But God did not fail to preserve His Word.
