Abraham’s journey in Genesis 15–17 shows that God doesn’t wait for us to have it all together before He accepts us. Abraham is called righteous while he’s still questioning and stumbling, because he trusts God.
In the same way, Jesus paid the full price for us while we were undeserving, declaring us righteous once and for all. That declaration becomes our foundation: because God already calls us righteous, He patiently works in us to make us righteous.
Justification → Sanctification. We don’t change to earn His love; we change because His love has already claimed us.
