this video doesn't look the best, seeing how the footage wasn't shot for this purpose. i'm playing around with the idea of using a matte to extract the goat from the background, and compositing it into where the actual goat stands. we'll see if i get around to it.
process:
i threw the original 4k file into a 720p timeline to be able to crop in to only show the goat without scaling above 100%. I then picked out a section, exported that and AI upscaled it to 1080p. I then also upscaled the framerate of the footage to make it last longer (and hide the loop points just a bit more), and brought it back into the edit. I then looped it very unconvincingly by just crossfading every time the clip came to its end. looped that for an hour, found some yule log audio online that i downloaded (dont worry im not making any money here so no one's getting ripped off) and there you go.
