We are presenting that session as the Keynote presentation at the Association of Fundraising Professionals Sierra Nevada Chapter's "Spring Training" Conference in Reno, Nevada April 22.

As we discuss the importance of starting with "WHY" Alice references Simon Sinek's concept of "The Golden Circle" in which he also teaches "Start with Why." For clarity, we've been doing this presentation since probably 2007 I had never even heard of Simon Sinek when we created it.

The video was shot at Arizona PBS where Alice was shooting a Pledge Drive Special for "Desert Dreams" coming to a PBS station near you! Alice has been volunteering as on-air talent at Arizona PBS for nearly 20 years.
The video was shot on an iPhone 6 using a Gorilla-pod (flexible, gripping tripod), a phone clamp attachment and a plastic takeout box to raise the camera a bit. You can see the rig in the first few seconds of the video which was originally posted to Instagram.
