The 30th Global Ocean Oxygen Network (GO2NE) webinar took place on 11 July 2024 and welcomed:
Simone Moretti (Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, Germany), speaking on: The future in the past? Studying past ocean oxygen using nitrogen isotopes and body size of fossil foraminifera
and moderator Jeremy Sterling of the Ocean Science Section, IOC-UNESCO.
At each webinar of this series, speakers present the latest science on the impacts of reduced oxygen in the open ocean and coastal zones. Each webinar usually features two presentations - one each from a senior scientist and an earlier-career scientist. Each presenter speaks for 20 minutes, followed by a 10-minute moderated Q&A session.
GO2NE is an Expert Working Group under the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC/UNESCO).
