Go Hibiki makes a brief appearance in Sagat's intro as he discards his body. Dan's originally tragic backstory had Sagat kill Go Hibiki, who had taken his eye. This was before Capcom decided to turn Dan into a joke character apparently. His character art as well looked less jokey in SFA than in later sequels. To pull off complex combo inputs in fighting games, you need the right pad or better yet, joystick.
