Gnosis Avian Cheese
This rare cheese is unusually made from the milk of a non-mammalian species. Boffins aboard the Gnosis genetically engineered roosters with mammary tissue and dosed them with hormones so that they could produce the milk for the cheese. Only tiny amounts of this cheese are produced owing to the difficulty of hand milking the roosters. The cheese is highly prized for its novelty value, if not for its taste and excruciating aroma.
