Combat Power was with fams on btw (15% ied, 15% ied, 3% attack).
Wasn't sure how close I was to this boss at all at first. I just had a random thought in my head while doing dailies to pop a black heart and go into easy kaling for fun and see how it is. I was very off pace, but it wasn't looking impossible, so I started working a lot on my really scuffed equipment potentials (I had 22 starred quite a few items since the seren solo)
Also digging for more ways to earn damage like getting to meister alchemy and using a 10% damage potion (not enough mats for meister smithing), actually getting level 3 link skills, leveling to 278 for more FD on the boss, getting a few hexa matrix skill levels, etc.
Overall, the boss wasn't too bad. Mihile is just a free class in general. I don't have to worry about possibly gauging P1 hundun and P2 kaling is so quick because of how often I can DPS. I think my biggest issue is, outside of origin burst, trying multitarget in P3 was very bad, so outside of Mihile's insane iframes and dmg uptime, the class imo just did not seem very well built for soloing in P3. I also had to make sure I had a lot of willpower for the entire fight so whenever I got to the last peril in p3 i can afford to gauge 2 perils and stay in that one specific region for the rest of the fight.
I kind of get a little bit of a headache though fighting that final peril + the end of p3 kaling, it requires me to focus more on where my character is cause all the mob effects are in the way and making sure i dont screw up guard timings (which are usually pretty lenient but you can't ever be too careful). And for some reason when I gauged the perils this run it like really hurt my head and stun locked me for a second lol
I lost count on how many practice mode runs I did but it wasn't too much, after a run where I got really close I stopped practicing for a week and decided to leave my party to get the solo achievement in the real mode run for this week only.
Thanks to fellow friends/guildies (Sey and Jason for the clear run, as well as Jacky, Mimi, & Steve for all the other practice runs) for buffing me prior to runs.
